I use to have 6 hives; our first year we harvested just over 100 pounds of honey. We sold most of it, but kept enough for our household use. Along with using it to sweeten our tea, coffee, and toast in the morning, I make no-bake cookies with honey (and Sunbutter).

My husband and I have traveled with our 3 pets (Fox Terrier, cat & bird), by car 3000+ miles from New England to Alberta, CA. The dog travels with his dog bed inside his kennel, the bird's kennel is equipped with perches and waterbottle, and covered with a blanket if she gets too overstimulated...the cat gets too stressed (and gets sick) in a kennel, so he sleeps on my lap or in his bed between the two front seats. All the tips listed in the article, and in the comment section, are great; water breaks, potty breaks (litter box set up in backseat for cat), and time outside to stretch are just as important for pets as they are people. We are now in the process of heading back east, so thanks for this post!!

I've made grilled pizza many times for a group. Like you said, I grill only one side - prior to the party - until nice and golden. When ready, the toppings go on the cooked side facing up, then, doughy side down to finish while melting the cheese.
This is what works for me.

I made this following a recipe by The Ravenous Couple, using a crockpot (don't ask), and it still came out great.

Screens and netting, as far as the eyes can see. This has worked, in my experience - especially for black flies. Visit Northern Maine during black fly season...you'll be fashioning a netted suit faster than you can make fun of the locals for wearing one.

I have tons of wooden wares in my kitchen..my favorite is my monster-of-an-edge-grain board that's 20x20x4 and weighs a metric ton. I've had it for over 10 years, purchased from the clearance aisle at TJ's for $20!!

I love it, and can't live without it. As mentioned above, read to ensure what you're truly getting inside your Greek yogurt carton...and I too use the unflavored 0% fat Greek in place of sour cream & mayo most of the time.

I bought a bunch for cleaning purposes; I was trying to scale back on paper towels. They are cheap, launder well, and have outlasted my pricier Williams & Sonoma towels (which are now my cleaning towels).
I think they'd make great napkins, except I associate them as cleaning towels...too bad they don't offer another color choice on the accent stitching.

For many years, my hubs worked 2nd & 3rd shifts...his breakfast was dinner, his dniner was breakfast, and sometimes all his meals were "dinner" meals. Find whatever works for you & go with it.

I use to rent a loft apartment, it had a skylight in the bedroom. Sleeping under the stars, inside, was awesome.

I have the 7th edition (I think, I lost the jacket), which came out in 1997. By default, I guess this is my choice...it's the only on I have.

I've made many, many recipes; most of them repetitively.
