This perfect for the party I am throwing tomorrow night. I am going with an Asian theme because a few of the guests have celiac, and this is a great appetizer for both the adults and the kids!

I find a macaroni salad is the perfect way to clean out you produce drawer. I just boil up some noodles, chop up whatever veggies are lying around, douse in Italian dressing, let sit overnight and then add mayo before serving. Inexpensive and delicious!

Ive frozen it before, but I don't like it nearly as much as fresh. I found it to get watery once defrosted. Also the texture was way more soggy than fresh. But if you don't care about either of those issues then there should be no problem.

I still haven't hit berry saturation yet. I keep buying blueberries to make a blueberry nectarine pie and they keep getting eaten before I have time to make the crust!

Really dumb question: Do you save the little containers or do you throw them out?

Also, if you live near a Trader Joes you should try their cilantro hummus. It is AMAZING!

I never thought about bringing big plastic bins into the grocery store, but that does make sense. My only concern is the bins would get quite heavy and I have to lug my groceries up a few flights of stairs. But still an interesting idea.

Such a great idea! I made some pumpkin chai ice cream for fall, but didn't think of chai as a summer treat. http://theglamoroushousewife.com/2013/10/pumpkin-chai-latte-ice-cream/

I have 10 people coming to dinner but zero time to cook, so I threw together a Parmesan chicken casserole and a huge Caesar salad. It might be simple, but it tastes great and will feed a crowd!

Yesterday I made my first green tomato pie. It looked beautiful but tasted terrible! But I don't regret a minute of it because I really enjoyed all the time I spent making it, learning a new crust recipe (which was awesome) and tried something new. Though it turns out green tomato pie isn't to my taste, the joy of making something was well worth it.

Have you ever made Green Goddess dressing (my new obsession) with Greek yogurt? It is the BOMB! So much yum! Try it on your next salad.

This is exactly what I do with any large project I have to accomplish. There is something about quickly checking off smaller to-do items than taking longer to complete larger projects.

When my husband and I first moved into our home I made a list, room by room, of everything that needed to get done. I found the list about three years later and realized we had managed to accomplish everything we had set out to do.

I love how modern and sophisticated the room looks! I too am a big fan of color in a gender neutral room. My son and daughter share a room and the main colors are blue, green, turquoise, and yellow.
