Brianna - Your blog is about consumerism, not Correct dinning.
- A reversable runner, so if someone spills something " you can just flip the cloth over, et voila, clean table" is just utterly tacky. Yuck.
- Napkin rings are used only the most casual of table settings, when re-using a cloth napkin is acceptable. Buy Buy Buy!
- Using porcelain for wine defeats the pleasure that viewing wine provides.

If you are going to push your blog, at least try for a bit of culture rather than retailism.

If you find yourself with an excessive amount of dried leafy herbs (for instance, from your summer garden) then freeze the dried herbs. Remove a month's supply from your air-tight freezer-container and let the herbs air dry to remove moisture before putting them in a jar. Tampicospices says "freezing is the best known way to retain flavor in spices. No measurable flavor changes take place and storage life is excellent."

Bee for Brian is right - a well finished table can deal with some moisture. Avoid flannel-backed vinyl: any moisture will leave fannel marks on your table. My problem was pressure: the ghost of a hastily written note, the dent where I put a bowl down a bit too firmly. For pressure issues, a thick smooth vinyl is preferable.

Your couch, chair and floor all appear to have apricot-yellow undertones. (However, photographs can be deceiving: Hold an apricot up to them to see if there's resonance!) The window shades seem to have burgundy undertones. Apricot & burgundy are not a happy color combination! So, as recommended above, hide your shades with wall-colored curtains or sheers. To pull together your three major pieces, get a rug that includes at least two colors from floor-couch-chair. Then, look for a paint that will go with them: cream to near-white to pale grey paint that is tinted either apricot or grey-blue (not a greenish blue.)

Bibliovore - yes, but. To fold paper this neatly and sharply takes quite a bit of time to learn. Also, this pattern is complex yet it balances upright perfectly. That isn't easy! Learning and doing origami is fairly simple; perfect takes a bit more effort.

Vodka'd blueberries: fill jar with blueberries & add a spoonful of syrup. Shake to coat. You will now have lots of space on top ... fill with more blueberries. Fill to top with vodka (or brandy or rum...) Place in refrigerator for up to two weeks. Makes a nice sauce, or light dessert, or add to afternoon smoothie-cocktails.
