What...are we on the same wave length or what. I was going to search it and saw my enail first. In Berkeley there is a restaurant, Everest cafe that lives up to its name. Their dal is the best ever. I live in SoCal where we have a ton of South Asian eateries that I will no longer go to because of this one.

Living in CA, we are conscious of water conservation. On my fave tv show, At Home with Venetia in Kyoto, she reused the water used to wash rice to clean the wooden floors in her 100 year old farmhouse.

I am trying to get more cinnamon into my diet on a daily basis. Since it doesn't dissolve it is slimy when added to coffee. Do you have any ideas/techniques for incorporating it in liquids, such as hot drinks?

You can stuff them with whatever. I mostly used fiberfill but I had some new t-shirt remnants that I put in the middle. Put a lot of stuffing in them. I made mine for a nursery. I like the handle on them.

Hard to find farro has a great substitute----wheat berries. My fave salad is the one with the roasted grapes and red onion with the wheat berries. Throw in baby kale or arugula at the end. It is a MS recipe on her PBS show.
